Sandra Lynn "Sandi" Young

April 7, 1949 - January 6, 2021

Young, Sandra Lynn (Nee Hoth, Sandi) Passed away peacefully on January 6, 2021, age 71. At her side was her beloved husband and best friend of 52 years James R. Young and her loving son Jimmy Young. Lovingly survived by her brother Don Hoth and his wife Marge; beloved aunt of Krista Hoth and Scott Hoth; adored and loved by sister and brother in law Judy and Dan Dykstra; beloved by Monique and her and Scott Hoth’s children Annabelle and Sebastian; cherished by extended family and friends. Dear parent to loving Sammy, Ginger, Doogie and Tasha (pets).

Sandi loved bird watching, spending time with family, decorating for holidays, cooking for loved ones, snuggling with her pets, warm slippers, comfy sweaters, and gave the best hugs. She left pieces of her everywhere she went; and infected everyone she cared about with love and encouragement. Sandi will be dearly missed.

Sandi I wish I could find the perfect way to thank you for being my best friend for 49 years. You always seemed to know just what others needed and what would brighten their day. Caring was such a big part of who you were and I'm sure you weren't even aware of the difference you made in so many lives. I will love you always. Sandi was beautiful, caring, generous and she loved life. She loved her family more than anything and friends were so important to her. She loved entertaing and and was a wonderful hostess. I will miss having girl days with her and phone calls to just check in. Love you girfriend

Sandi was a great friend and neighbor. She was always kind, gentle and compassionate. Sandi never missed an opportunity to come to see someones dog or call me about bird activity in her yard. My memories bring a smile to me. I will think of her when I hear the birds sing. I'll miss her always.

Sandi really enjoyed life and being with friends. She enjoyed taking exotic vacations and I’m happy she had the chance to experience many. She lived life to the fullest and will truly be missed.
