Robert Boll, 83, was born to Eternal Life on Wednesday, May 1, 2019. Beloved husband of almost 63 years to Audrey (nee Quade). Loving father of Thomas (Maureen) and Arlene (Dave) Gallenberger. Dear grandfather to Tommy (Megan), Jessica (Nick), Amanda (Matt) Boll, Katie (Michael) Wineman, Rose, Danny Gallenberger, and one great-grandchild on the way. Preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Victoria (nee Chmilewski), brothers, Donald and Henry, and sister, June Kasprzak. Further survived by many family and friends.
Bob was a proud employee with WE Energies for 35 years. He belonged to the Operating Engineers Local #317 Union. He quickly became best friends with Bob Jankowski who always called him the “Real Bobby Boll”.
During his retirement years, he enjoyed cutting grass at Kettle Hills Golf Course.
Bob and Audrey thoroughly enjoyed spending time up at Christmas Mountain Village in Wisconsin Dells. Bob loved golfing and when he was no longer able to actively participate in the sport, he became an avid armchair golfer, watching tournaments with his lovely wife each weekend. He loved meeting up with friends at the local George Webb and then the local McDonalds when he moved to Pewaukee.
Bob loved spending time with his grandchildren and they all have very fond memories of their grandfather. He loved dancing and had a witty sense of humor with a knack for making everyone laugh with his clever jokes. He was always the life of every party he attended.
Visitation at St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church, 734 Glenview Avenue, Milwaukee on Thursday, May 9, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM-12:00 PM.
Entombment at Holy Cross Cemetery, 7301 West Nash Street, Milwaukee, 12:30 PM.
A very special thank you to the staff at VITAS Healthcare and Village at Manor Park. Bob’s journey was often difficult, and you sent angels when they were needed the most. Our appreciation for your loving care and concern for both Bob and Audrey can never be properly expressed. You are truly doing God’s work on earth.
Bob’s life motto was “Be good, and if you can’t be good, be good at it!”

Dear Rose and family, I am so sorry the loss of your beloved grandfather, father, and husband. I know the coming days will be very difficult. Focus on caring for one another and sharing fond memories. It is important to let yourself grieve and keep in mind that time will help. Sending love and support from Maryland!
