Richard M. Matson passed away peacefully and went home to Jesus on September 20th, 2022, at the age of 76.

Reunited with his sons James and Steven, parents Richard and Katherine, sister Kay, nephews Gary and Eddie, niece Jill, and brother Floyd. Beloved father of Lisa Lamers. Proud grandfather of eight grandchildren, Amber, Samantha, Laura, Victoria, Isabella, Julian, Max and Nick. Great- grandfather of Rebekah, Asher and Micah. Former spouse of Candice. Dear brother of the late Kay(Gary), the late Floyd(Sherry), Allan, Barbara(Mike), Nancy(Tom), Linda(Jeff), and David(Dan). Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Loved by many longtime friends.

Richard was a very hardworking and handsome man with a quiet spirit. He enjoyed cooking, fishing, gardening, collecting antiques and loved his black lab Jake.

Many thanks and appreciation to all of his caregivers.

Rest in Jesus.

Gathering for the burial will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at 1:45 PM at Arlington Cemetery, 4141 South 27th Street, Greenfield, WI 53221.
