Richard J Stolzenfeld, Jr.

Rick, age 52, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving wife and kids on November 20th

2021 in their home in West Allis, WI. Rick fought a 2 year cancer battle with the heart and

strength of a superhero.

Rick was born on May 31st 1969 in Milwaukee, WI to Juanita and Richard J Stolzenfeld, Sr. He

graduated from Milwaukee Lutheran High School in 1988. Rick retired in 2020 after 30 years in

residential and commercial construction.

Rick married the love of his life Jeren on April 25th 1998. They had 3 unique individual children;

Mikayla (Noah) Duffenbach, Bradley Stolzenfeld and Julie Stolzenfeld. He was preceded in

death by his father, mother, mother-in-law, an aunt, many uncles and few cousins. He is

survived and truly loved by so many family and friends we just can not name them all.

Beside spending time with his family and friends, Rick had a passion for playing, by ear, his

guitars, which was self-taught, to every style of music. He found excitement in playing with his

“big boy toys”. During the season, win or lose, he passionately watched his Steelers. He loved

spending time at his trailer cutting wood and spending time around the fire pit. As of late, he

most enjoyed being on the lake trying to catch the biggest fish, which he accomplished this year

with a 19” 4.5lb bass. So many memories he will be remembered forever.

A celebration of Rick’s life will be held on Friday, November 26, 2021 with services from 10:30-11:30 and a gathering to follow.  All will be held at West Allis West Milwaukee Recreation Center, 2450 S 68th St, West Allis, WI 53219.
