Richard “Friz” James Frisby

April 6, 1958 - September 8, 2021

Rick J. Frisby took his place with the angels on September 8, 2021, age 63. Son of Janet Lovell of Mesa, Arizona. Friz was the life partner of 34 years to Laurel Richardson. Dear brother of Bevi Lovell, Jeff Frisby, Kenny Lovell of Illinois, and Bill Lovell of Texas. Beloved father to Brandon Frisby, Kasey Burdett, Clinton and Tyler Frisby, Rachael Gladfelter, Waylon Morss, Logan Morss, and Danette Richardson. Loving Grandpa to Harmony and Caleb Wilder, Drake and Jaydee Burdett, Kiana and Tristan Morss, Aidan Cruz Elizondo, Ashley May, Kristen Leer, Elysium, Draven, and Delilah Morss. Great-grandpa to Pieper May.

There will be a celebration of life in the town he called home, Wataga, Illinois. Date and time pending.

Rick was just a good old boy. He loved being outside whether it was doing his job roofing and siding or fishing and enjoying the weather. He loved Harleys and spending time with his babies. He was a devoted family man. Now he’s watching over all of them.
