(nee Sweemer) of West Bend, WI was called to Eternal rest on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at age 82. Phyllis was born February 20, 1937 at her home and was the youngest of six children born to the late William and Mary (nee Lansing) Sweemer in Milwaukee, WI. Phyllis was the beloved wife of James F. Frank. They just celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary. They were married on October 28, 1961 in Milwaukee at Memorial Lutheran Church where she had been a member for over 60 years.

Phyllis worked at Gimbles Department Store in Milwaukee and was a proud member of the U.S.O. Socialites Group where she proudly served as president.

Phyllis was the loving mother of James R. Frank (Pamela) of Kewaskum, WI and Robert W. Frank (Anna) of Port Townsend, WA. Phyllis is survived by her 4 grandchildren, Brandon Frank (Sara) of Jackson, WI, Lindsey Yapp (Jerad) of Kewaskum, WI, and Winter Harms and Sophia Frank of Port Townsend, WA and by her 5 great-grandchildren, Kenley Yapp, Adilyn Frank, Connor Yapp, Karley Yapp, and Jaxon Frank.

Phyllis is also survived by her sister Florence Finet, sister-in-laws Marilyn Sweemer, Jeanette Schuttel, and Diane Russell, and numerous nieces and nephews. Phyllis was preceded in death by her sisters and brothers-in-law, Marion and James Hansen, Jean and Jerry Wachtl, and Kathryn and James Talasek, along with her brother, William Sweemer.

Phyllis loved her decades of camping at Westward Ho and touring the United States in her motor home where she had many friends and met many new ones along the way.

Visitation will be held at Wisconsin Memorial Park, Chapel of the Flowers, 13235 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, WI on Friday, December 20, 2019 from 9:30 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM.
