A special thank you to Horizon Hospice and Lawlis Family Center. The family thanks all from the bottom of their hearts for everything this team of miracle workers has done to help Patricia and family through her process.  Anyone lucky enough to have this opportunity is blessed.

Patricia Lynn was born in Milwaukee on April 30, 1955.  She was born into a very loving and devoted family.  From there this devotion only continued as she began a family of her own.  Family was everything to her and seeing everyone happy was her goal on day to day basis: some may say it was just her ultimate way of life. Her favorite holidays were Birthdays, Thanksgiving and Christmas, another time to have her whole family together. Patricia and her husband did all the cooking, she loved to decorate, and most of all she couldn’t wait to see the smiles she brought on those special occasions.  She made sure to make every milestone and gathering more special than the last.

The bond she had with her two grandsons was unbreakable. They brought so much happiness and pure joy to her life every single day. She loved babysitting, playing games, being a part of their everyday lives, and spending quality time with them every chance she had.  She taught them what unconditional love really is and they will have that for the rest of their lives.

She took on some strong Catholic beliefs she had as a child and taught them to her very own family and continued her strong faith until the day she was called home to God. She attended regular mass at St. Pius Church in Wauwatosa. She enjoyed the people she met through her faith and the help she was able to bring to those less fortunate than her.

Education and career truly meant a lot to her. She spent her younger years at Custer High School, where she was on the swim team and received many awards for synchronized swimming. She then moved on to Concordia University where she studied Nursing and received her Bachelor’s Degree in the medical field. She instilled these values in her children and grandchildren too, enjoyed going to their events, and always being involved in their academic achievements.

Travel was a huge part of her younger days, she enjoyed some amazing trips with some of her best friends. Hawaii, San Francisco, and Colorado were some of her favorites, that she talked about all the time. She and her family owned a summer home in Wild Rose, Wisconsin, for 15 years. This was her happy place, so many memories were built, and the family now has a lifetime of laughs and wonderful stories to share.

Everyone will remember Patricia for her bright smile, her giant heart, and infectious spirit. She is now reunited with the love of her life and is at peace.  Laughing, smiling, and enjoying life is where she is now.  We love you, Mom!
