Martha L. Souter, age 77, went home to be with her Lord Savior on June 3, 2022. Her parents Lonzo Johnson and Chinnie Mae Johnson welcomed her into this world on January 23, 1945, in New Albany, Mississippi.
Martha was a graduate of Washington Park High School Class of 1965. In July 1966, she was joined in Holy Matrimony to Jessie Melvin Souter, her former husband, and friend. Their union was blessed with the birth of one daughter, Wendy Souter.
Martha shared a passion for MillerCoors. She was proud of her employment at MillerCoors. During which she spent 30 years proudly working as a Brewery Worker. During her employment, Martha had PERFECT ATTENDANCE. She brought home the bacon and the eggs.
Martha Souter also served faithfully at Parklawn Assembly of God Church in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Martha regularly attended church services until her health started to decline. Martha generously contributed to several Non-Profit Organizations. Never one to shy away from expressing an opinion, Martha was known as a straight shooter no-nonsense personality. She loved spending time gardening, landscaping, shopping, and working at MillerCoors. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Martha Souter leaves to mourn her daughter Wendy Souter of Glendale, Wisconsin, grandchildren, QuHarrison Terry of Dallas, Texas, Alexis Terry of Glendale, Wisconsin, and Miles Terry of Glendale, Wisconsin.
Martha is survived by brothers, Charles (Patricia) Johnson and Chris Johnson both from Racine, Wisconsin. Along with sisters Dorothy Robinson and Joyce (Claude) Caldwell from Racine, Wisconsin. Martha leaves to cherish her memories of many nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.

Martha could be a polarizing figure, but only to those who didn't pull their own weight! She always took pride in her personal appearance and her work ethic because she knew it was a reflection on her and our Company's product! She never left her conscience in the locker room. She was a strong, independent woman and was an asset to her family and Miller Brewing. I was proud to know her and am sorry for her passing. Sincerely, Rudy Patek
