Passed peacefully in her sleep on May 5, 2018, age 77.
Marret was born on December 23,1940 in Milwaukee, WI to the late John & Wanda Jark who immigrated from Germany. Loving wife for 30 years of the late Hermann Seebacher, devoted Mother to Eric (Jeanne), Kurt (Karen), Sonja (Todd) and Heidi (Jared). Proud Grandma OMA to Peyton and Abby, Sienna, Cole and Bella, and Carter, Cameron and Ashlyn. Preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her brother Uwe Jark and her furry friend Les.
Marret was an elementary school teacher for many years with MPS and truly enjoyed teaching German to young children; retiring in 2000. After retirement her greatest joy was her 8 grandchildren. Marret was able to spend much time at their various activities and sporting events. Marret also volunteered at MPS, was an active member of Gethsemane Lutheran Church, Brookfield, WI and an active member of the Masonic Order of the Eastern Star.
One of Marret’s favorite places was Carl Schurz Memorial Park located in Stone Bank, WI, she was able to enjoy close to 67 years at her cottage socializing, swimming and enjoying her German heritage. Marret and her family shared many summers of joy on Moose Lake and will continue to do so in her memory. Marret took pleasure for many years heading up the cheering section for her son Eric’s Amateur Bowling Tournaments, she loved the road trips traveling throughout the Midwest to these tournaments. There were very few that she missed and was an important part of Eric’s success.
The family wishes to extend special thanks to Dr. Roger Torres of New Berlin and the special caregivers who put Marret’s comfort and happiness as their top priority. An extra special thank you to Daniel who was Marret’s favorite caregiver over the last few years. It was Marret’s wish that Daniel knows how truly comforting he was to her and how lucky we all were to know Marret was in Daniel’s caring hands.
