Born to Eternal Life on June 21, 2020, at the age of 98. Beloved mother of Thomas Mattmiller and Laurel (Mark) Poytinger. Preceded in death by her son, David Mattmiller. Proud grandmother of David (Marla) Poytinger, Jessie (Nate) Marks, Julie (Chris) Calef, Katie (Patrick) Freund, and Emily Poytinger. Great-grandmother of Penny, Jack, Micah, Elodie, Grace, Theo, Maggie, and Lincoln. Survived by other family and friends.

Lorraine was a dedicated teacher and supervisor for the Milwaukee Public Schools and will be best remembered for her love of children. She leaves behind an enduring passion for nature and gardening. We will miss you dearly, and your spirit will remain with us as we work in our gardens with our children.
