Entered into Heaven and reunited with her husband of 59 years on Thursday, February 21, 2019, age 92. Loving mother of Bruce (Mary), Sheryl (Dennis) Cahn, and Sandra Vallee. Dear grandmother of Ashley (Matt), David, Arianna (Zach), and Aaron. Proud great-grandmother of Jackson. Dear sister of Jean Zastrow. Special cousin of Dorothy Becker. Preceded in death by brothers-in-law Clarence Zastrow and Donald Haarmann, sister-in-law Patricia Haarmann and cousin Russell Held. Further loved by other relatives and friends.

Born to the late Delmar and Alma (nee Pattow) Held in Milwaukee on November 15, 1926. She married her high school sweetheart Wallace E. Haarmann on April 10, 1948. After a few years of being married they started their family. Son Bruce followed by daughters Sheryl and Sandy soon completed the young family. During the 1960’s they enjoyed trailer camping trips with extended family out west taking pet poodle Gigi along. A special wedding anniversary was celebrated in Hawaii. By the end of the 1980’s, they retired and moved to a winter home in Orlando near Sea World, while driving north every summer to their lake property in Conover where they entertained friends, relatives and grandchildren. Lois loved her Heavenly Father and her family. She was a homemaker, baker and gardener who was artistic and thoroughly loved music.
