Linda Marie Hicks

Linda Marie (Bosley) Hicks transitioned from this life on Tuesday, November 17, 2020, age 60. The cherished daughter of Etta Mae and the late Corinth Hicks. She is the adored wife of Gregory Reynolds. The loving mother of Corinth II (Melissa), Bryant (Yuliana), and Blaine. Beloved grandmother of Destanee, Vivian, Mya, Sharon, Naomi, Justus, and Kheil. The sister of Cedric, Charles, Renee, Michael, Dwayne, and Gloria. Preceeding her in death are her brothers and sisters Elaine, Clifford, Terry, and Sharon. She will be forever remembered and loved by a host of family and friends.

At this time there will not be a viewing or an in person funeral service due to COVID-19 restrictions. A virtual memorial service is forthcoming and will be announced for a later date.

Linda loved sports. She was an avid Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs fan. Her favorite colors were purple and green. Her favorite television program was “Law & Order.” She enjoyed playing scratch off lottery tickets while enjoying one of her favorite snacks, cheese puffs. She loved her boys and loved to cook for them when she had the opportunity to do so. She loved to laugh and joke with them daily over the phone. She would call Cory for help with riddles. She and Bryant would act silly every chance they got. She really enjoyed when Blaine would comb her hair. The lights of her life were her grandchildren. Every Sunday she would Facetime her mother to say, “I just wanted to see your face and tell you I love you.” She was always good for some laughs and being the life of the party.
