Karen “Kari” Kathleen Loth

August 12, 1948 - January 30, 2019

Karen K. (Kari) Loth passed away on January 30, 2019 at the age of 70. Beloved mom to Kelly (Jeffrey) Lavoie, Christine (Jonathan) Brooks, Nick (Shelby) Loth and Annemarie (Matthew) Lueders.  Devoted “YaYa” to Kaelin Lavoie, Parker Brooks, Faith Loth and Elise, Vivian and Andrew Lueders.   She is survived by her brothers Richard (JoAnn) Eurich, Mark Eurich and sister Jill (Irv) Mueller.  Preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Mary and the father of her children and close friend A. Nicholas Loth.

Kari worked for many years as a dedicated Activities Director at several nursing homes in the area. She was committed to her faith, an incredibly talented artist, could sew anything and lived for her children and grandchildren.  She loved brain teasers, skunks and giraffes, had a sarcastic wit and beautiful large laugh that filled a room.

To remember and honor Kari, there will be a private dinner for family and close friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Aurora at Home Zilber Family Hospice who brought joy and peace to mom’s final days and Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin where her grandchildren have received care.
