(nee Netterfield) Found eternal peace on Monday, April 27th, 2020 at the age of 80.
Joyce was born on April 3rd, 1940 to the late James and Amy (Krall) Netterfield. She married the love of her life Dennis in 1959 and shared 60+ years together. Her life revolved around being a good wife and a loving mother to their 4 children. She was creative, silly, and ‘spunky’ – leaving us with memories to last a lifetime. Although her life was not always easy, she was strong and she was a survivor.
One of her deepest loves was that of Jesus. She had a great amount of faith and upon learning of her diagnosis she focused on the one thing that brought her comfort – being with Jesus. She is now where she once only dreamed of being – in the arms of her savior. May she spread her wings and fly among the angels for she has certainly earned her wings!
She is survived by her husband Dennis, children Dennis Romasko Jr., Stephanie (Jim) Gramza, Jay (Laurie) Romasko, and sister Kathleen White. Further survived by grandchildren Tabitha Romasko, Nick Vana, Christopher, Corey Romasko, Ashley (Brian) Gothard, Allyson Smith, Sarah (Dan) Rehlinger, Steven (Brittney) Boucher and Holly Romasko as well as great-grandchildren Maurita, Lucas, Arayah, Dominic, Aubrey, Harper, Lydia, and Chase.
Joyce was preceded in death by her daughter Denise Romasko and brother Dan Netterfield.
A special thank you to all the health care workers who, throughout the last 4 years, loved and nurtured her (even in her most ‘spunkiest’ of moods).
