It is with unexpected sorrow that it must be announced that Joslyn Gore, at the age of 46, passed away on July 16, 2022.

Born November 8, 1975 to Veronica Gore. Although Joslyn was an only child, she was never lonely. She grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin surrounded by cousins, aunts, and a vivacious grandmother who she referred to as Nana. She was quickly highlighted to be an extremely bright student, excelling past her peers.

For over 20 years Joslyn worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse, giving care to the loved ones of many people who were not able to care for themselves. She was a hard worker who took a lot of pride in her job and was quick to jump into whatever situation that needed her help. She curated loving friendships and was always someone who had a story to tell about her work.

Joslyn Gore was an avid reader who had a book collection that grew quickly. She was an enthusiastic fan of Doctor Who, Supernatural, and Game of Thrones to name a few of her favorite pastimes. Joslyn loved shoes and had a collection that could rival even some of the most intense shoe collectors. She was a multifaceted human being who could go from listening to 2000’s pop to belting out some of the glam metal classics of the 80’s. She was adventurous and loved new experiences, even though sometimes her bad luck put her in a situation that went awry. She was notoriously clumsy, with many of those close to her having a hilarious story to tell.

Joslyn was a nurturing mother and a loved being a “Nana” to her two grandchildren. She would often say, that if there is anything good that she had done in this world, it was having and raising her four children. She is survived by her children Nakiiya, Cyanne, Fistandantilus, and Mars as well as her two grandchildren, Inori and Raistlin. She was loved by her mother Veronica Gore, her daughter -in -law, Gabby, and her son- in- law Justin. Joslyn Markanda Gore was bright, strong, and loved. She will be missed forever and always.
