John Thomas Greulich, age 67, of Oak Creek, Wisconsin, passed away, much too soon, on December 27th, 2025, surrounded by loving family.
John was born on April 12th, 1958 in Bay View, Wisconsin to Thomas and Elizabeth Greulich. He attended and graduated from Immaculate Conception Elementary School and St. Thomas More High School. A few years after High School, John started working at the Post Office where he was a dedicated employee for 39 years. He had just retired in March of 2024 and earned a Service Award Certificate for all of his accomplishments as a valuable employee.
He loved working on his golfing game and got a Hole-In-One at the Brown Deer Golf Course, which was celebrated in the Journal Sentinel. As an avid Wisconsin sports fan, he could always be counted on to share statistics, regarding the Packers, Bucks and Brewers, thanks to his incredible memory for numbers. He rejoiced in their successes, but was a good sport accepting loses.
John was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Arthur Greulich, his mother, Elizabeth Kathro (Bermingham) and a brother Thomas Arthur Jr.
He will be missed by five siblings: Mary (Stephen) Randall, Mark (DeAnna) Greulich, Paul Greulich, Kathi (David) Andreoni and Jeanne (Joseph) Rowland.
John is survived by 7 nieces and nephews: Patrick, Katie, Eddie, Matthew, Megan, Tom and Joe. John was always eager to hear about the important events in their lives. John also enjoyed being around his aunts, uncles and cousins. John’s family takes comfort knowing he is no longer suffering and is at perfect peace in the arms of the Lord. A special thank you to John’s friend, Kevin McCormick, for helping with medical challenges.
A funeral Mass for John will be celebrated on January 31st, 2026, at 10:00am at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 9303 South Chicago Road, Oak Creek, WI 53154.
