John J. Kochanski passed away peacefully on May 12, 2022, at the age of 66. He is survived by his loving wife, Melissa Kochanski (nee Schinlaub), aunt Loretta Coughlin, brothers Peter and Brian, niece Penelope Ronshausen, cousin Richard (Carol) Eaton, their children Robert and Michael, cousin James (Jane) Eaton. Preceded in death by his loving parents, Mary Patricia Kochanski (nee Coughlin) and George Eugene Kochanski.
John was a bindery worker for over 30 years until his retirement due to illness. For many years he enjoyed his hobby of talking on the ham radio as kb9sxh, making many contacts all over the world. John had a great sense of humor, enjoyed making people laugh, feel included, and never met a stranger.
John suffered from numerous illnesses but remained cheerful, rarely complaining. His time chatting and laughing with his doctors and nurses at Froedtert Hospital was cherished by him. John and his wife would like to thank everyone at Froedtert hospital for giving him the best care, being comforting, and gentle, especially, Dr. Kia Seaian, who saved his life at least once. John would like everyone to consider being an organ donor.
