John Francis Barrett

John Francis Barrett passed away on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at the age of 92. Loving husband of Audrey for 70 years. Loving father of Martha (Dainis Bekeris) Barrett and Nancy (Gerald Richards) Barrett. Proud Grandpa of Benjamin Richards. Also loved by other relatives and friends.

John was employed by T.M.E.R. & L./Wisconsin Electric Power Company/We Energies from 1951-1994 (43 years). He retired as a Manager of Human Resources; where he enjoyed his relationships with friends and co-workers very much.

In what little spare time he had, he enjoyed golf, fishing, and spending time with his grandson, Ben.

A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, November 5, 2021, at Wisconsin Memorial Park – Family Center – NW Chapel, 12875 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM with a service to follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to IOWA STATE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION.
