Beloved husband and best friend of Judith J. Appenzeller (nee Churchill) for 61 years. Loving father of Mark (Judy) Appenzeller and Candee Appenzeller. Dear grandfather of Angela Haut (Steve Rouiller), Jeffrey Haut (Kerry Freiburger), Amber (Nick) Cooper and Steven Appenzeller. Proud great-grandfather of Skylar and Morgan Bugnacki, Gauge Schulz and Jeffrey and Joceyln Haut. Further loved by many other relatives and friends.
Celebration of life to be held Saturday, March 18, 2017 from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM at the Schuetze Recreation Center, Frame Park, 1120 Baxter Street, Waukesha, WI 53186.
John proudly served in the Marines. He was a long time worker at the Milwaukee Road and was a member of the American Legion in Waukesha.
In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to the Clement Zablocki Milwaukee VA Medical Hospital.
A special thank you to the 4th Floor Cancer Care Unit and the Palliative Care Unit at the Clement Zablocki Milwaukee VA Medical Hospital.
