Joan was an accomplished artist for most of her life. She was married to Robert Glavan and is survived by her 8 nieces and nephews and many great-nieces and nephews. Private interment, Arlington Cemetery.

Joan and I worked together at W. C. Heath Associates over 60 years ago and have remained friends ever since. Her beautiful paintings adorn all of the walls in my condo in Seattle and I think of her often. Rest in peace, dear Joan.
