Jerome “Jerry” Weber was welcomed into eternal life on August 31, 2025, at the age of 85.
Born October 9, 1939, to Hans and Anita Weber in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Jerry is survived by his sister, Janet (Philip) Santacroce, and was preceded in death by his brother, James (Carolyn) Weber.
Jerry was the loving and proud uncle of Sister M. Francesca (Lynn Santacroce), Phyllis Santacroce, Marianne (Todd) Larson, Dianne (Mark) Bender, Bethanne (Scott) Bernard, and John (Gretchen) Weber. He was also a proud great-uncle to Rebecca Larson (fiancé Zach Buman), Sarah (John) Larson-Lauler, and James and Samuel Weber.
Jerry proudly served his country in the United States Army and later dedicated his career to the United States Postal Service as a mail carrier, retiring after many years of service. He took great pride in both his military duty and his work with the USPS.
The family wishes to thank Life Connects and the many individuals on their team who provided compassionate care and advocacy for Jerry. Special thanks to Cheryl Krutina (owner), Donna Pluta-Eisenmann, and caregivers Ada, Gina, Melodie, and Tyson.
Jerry had a special place in his heart for dogs and found great joy in their companionship. In his memory, donations may be made to the Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission or Wisconsin Humane Society.
As a final reflection, Jerry leaves this message of encouragement for those he loved:
Cherish your family and the time you have together. Work hard, live carefully, and appreciate what you have. Be kind, stay grateful, receive with grace, and let wisdom guide your choices. These are the values that leave a lasting legacy—the legacy he hoped to leave behind.
Jerry is interred at Valhalla Memorial Park in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
