It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Jerry, on July 13, 2026. He passed peacefully in his sleep at home, with his fiancée of 34 years, Maureen “Mo” Scherer. He was 62 yrs young.

Jerry was born on February 25, 1964. He was the youngest of 9 children. All his siblings greatly loved him. He was able to stand out amongst so many “Jokers”. Many of his friends knew him as the “Joker.” He lived up to his nickname. He kept you laughing and wanting more. His goal was to leave those he met in good spirits. Sports were always something he enjoyed and would share with others. He loved his Packers and his Brewers (he also loved the brew!!). He was skilled at playing pool and was an avid bowler.

Jerry was a devoted partner to “Mo” and a loving, proud father to Joshua (Lissa), Joseph (Jennifer), and Ashley (James). He cherished bringing laughter to his grandchildren, Dylan (Katherine), Chloe, Brandon (Payton), Audrianah, Jasper, Willow, Jayde, and Aden. He was also a kind and patient great-grandfather to Grace, Layton, Bailey, Faith, Hazel, and Amelia. A generous Godfather to Joshua Lueth.

He never missed a chance to talk about his children and grandchildren; they were his “greatest accomplishment in life.”

Jerry will be missed by his brothers Mark (Kathy), Don (Darlene), Pat (Cheri), Thomas (Dawn), sister Ginger, and many, many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Gerald & Marjorie Lueth; Lynda Okerson (sister); Jane Lueth (sister); and Christel Lueth (sister).

A Celebration of Life will be on August 22, 2026 at 1:00 PM. It will be held at Ray and Dot’s, 6351 West Grange Avenue, Greendale, WI 53129. Please come join us and share a meal and some of your favorite memories with us.
