It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Ivonne Jean Schlintz, who left us peacefully on March 12, 2025 at the age of 95, surrounded by loved ones. A beloved spouse, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished friend, Ivonne lived a full and meaningful life, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew her.
A longtime resident of Greendale, WI, she made a lasting impact on her community. A passionate educator, Ivonne spent many years as a physical education teacher, inspiring students to lead healthy and active lives. Beyond her role in the classroom, she also made a lasting impact as a Girl Scout troop leader, guiding and mentoring many young lives in the community.
Ivonne was known for her love of life and her commitment to her family. She enjoyed spending time quilting, playing cards and participating in her local book club. Her creativity and enthusiasm were reflected in all that she did, whether through her beautiful quilts, engaging book discussions, or involvement at Faith Community Church. Ivonne also cherished the time spent at Lake Camelot, where she created countless happy memories with her loved ones. Above all, Ivonne treasured her time spent with family and friends, creating memories that will last for generations.
Preceded in death by her loving spouse S. Robert (Bob) Schlintz. She is survived by her children Scott (Holly) Schlintz, Pamela (John) Chenow, and Brian (Rosemary) Schlintz. She was a loving aunt to Sue (Gary) Corbisier and David (Stacia) Silbaugh. She also took great pride in her role as a grandmother to Shannon (Tom) Koziol, Jamie (Steve) Trate, Noah (Lindsey LeFebre) Gehling, Derek (Jenna) Schlintz, Sabrina (Dave) Stroble and, Alaina (Kyle) Schmitt. Her legacy lives on through her great-grandchildren: Gunnar Schlintz, Sara Koziol, Wyatt Koziol, Riley Trate, Emma Trate, Lincoln Stroble, and Eloise Schmitt.
Her warm smile, gentle nature, and strong presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
