Surrounded by family on April 9th, 2021, Floyd Thomas Jr. found his peace. Beloved father of Morgan, Magen, Amanda, Monica, and Samantha Thomas. Loving son of Helen Mc Cray and Floyd Thomas Sr. Dear grandson of Lucille Berrien. Loving brother of Faithe Colas, Gina Koonce and Kristyl Thomas. Further loved by a host of family and friends.

Floyd is remembered as an avid reader, athletic enthusiast, tinker, and skilled carpenter. Floyd loved bicycling, listening to all types of music, and wearing his epic cowboy boots. Most of all our beloved one has left on our heart’s footprints of his infectious spirited energy, humor, smile, and laugh.

The family gathered privately on April 14, 2021 for an intimate cremation ceremony. In honor of our beloved one’s Native American spiritual belief the family placed tobacco, sage, lavender, sweet grass, cedar, chocolate, and a dream catcher with him at the cremation ceremony. In lieu of funeral services the family will return our beloved one to the earth in the waters of Lake Winnebago on June 26, 2021. Exact location and time TBD.
