Collins, Ethel A. (nee Groves) – Made her transition to Heaven on Sunday, February 12, 2023, age 92.
Loving mother of Rennord (Cathy) Groves, Leonard, Calvin, Carl (Samantha), Raymond, Gerald, Roeshell, Sharyl (Jerry) McFarland, and Ericka. Like a mother to Benjamin, Stephen, Greg, Jamilah and Pearline.
Dear grandmother of 39 grandchildren and beloved great-grandmother of 31 great-grandchildren and proud great-great-grandmother of 15 great-great-grandchildren.
Ethel also leaves behind her sister, Ella Taylor and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Ethel had a great sense of humor and an infectious laugh that pulled everyone in. She loved people and became “Mom” to all around her. She spent over 20 years as a Safety Officer for the City of Milwaukee. She received several awards and many accolades for her work at several schools in the Milwaukee area. Ethel was a woman of faith and great wisdom. She spent many years as a Pastor’s aide and was always willing to help those in need. She loved her pets, gardening, plants and watching a good Western.
She was deeply loved as Mama, Grandma and Friend. She will be greatly missed.

I'm going to miss you so much mama, you were the best Mother-in-law a young lady could ask for, ma you teached me a lot and I'll never forget it, you teached me how to fight without raising a single hand, I really enjoyed being you Daughter for 24yrs. I ❤️ Love you go on and rest now you're in the hands of Our Father God here's your flowers your work is done
