Elmer Donald Dickhut

Of Waukesha, entered Heaven February 21, 2017, age 91. Beloved husband of ( the late) Rita. Loving father of Donald (Patricia), Dennis (Lois), Naomi (Eric) Judd, Mary (Tim) Fischer, Cathy (Gary) Bajurny and Tammy (Craig) Lietzke. Cherished grandfather of Tony, Jeff, Jeanette, Marcus, Brian, Kimmy, Karen, Amanda, Nick, Kristi, Christian, Grant, Abby, Colin, Chloe, Yve and spouses. Also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Gathering at Fox River Christian Church, S46W24130 Lawnsdale Road, Waukesha, Wisconsin 53189, on Friday, March 3, 2017, 10:00 AM-11:00 AM. Memorial Service 11:00 AM. Please enter on West side of church and go into the chapel. Interment Riverview Cemetery, Rome, Wisconsin to follow.

Elmer loved his family, his player pianos and reading his bible. Dad and Grandpa will be remembered for his generous heart and giving nature.  He was a dedicated employee of Milwaukee County Transit System for over 40 years.  Elmer was fondly known as Wisconsin’s most feared furnace fighter.
