Carlson, Eileen D. (nee Dandrea)

Joined her husband and life companion Gary in Heaven on Wednesday, August 26th, 2026 at the age of 71. Also welcoming her are her parents Dr. Peter and Jeanne Dandrea and her sisters Anne and Lisa Dandrea. She is survived by her dear brother Paul (Cecilia) Dandrea, her fond aunt Henriette Schmidt, her devoted aunt in law Norma (the late Thomas) Schmidt, her special nephew Andrew Dandrea as well as a host of other family and friends.

Eileen will be remembered for her strong faith as exhibited by her active membership with the Unity Church Parish since 1980 having served on their board and acting as treasurer and bookkeeper. She and Gary were also vibrant participants in the Channel 10 Auction acting as part of the table staging crew. Besides her love and dedication to her family, Eileen provided a loving home to many furry friends, most recently to her cat Lucy whom she cared for over 20 years. It was also very common for her to be rooting for the local Wisconsin teams ! Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers, and Wisconsin Badgers, she had a game to cheer on for each season.

To celebrate her life, there will be a gathering of family and friends at UNITY CHURCH CENTER in Milwaukee, 1717 North 73rd Street, Wauwatosa on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM. Celebration of Life Service at 2:00 PM.
