Dolores Koloske, age 86, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin died peacefully Saturday, April 8, 2017. She passed away in hospice care in the quiet morning hours. Dolores was born April 25, 1930 in Tony, Wisconsin to Clarence and Leona (Wisherd) Cornelissen. She grew up in Ladysmith along the beautiful Flambeau River. She graduated from Ladysmith High School in 1948. She left Ladysmith in 1949 for Milwaukee where she was employed at AC Spark Plug. There she met and married Gil Koloske (later divorced). They had three wonderful children together; two daughters, Linda (Leo) D’Agostino of Gurnee, Illinois, Jill (Ramon Acevedo) Koloske of Las Vegas, Nevada, and one son, Jim (Sue) Koloske of Franklin, Wisconsin. She adored her three grandchildren, Joe and Amanda D’Agostino and Alyssa Koloske. She looked forward to the addition of another granddaughter when Joe marries Grace Gonzalez.

Dolores filled her days with knitting and crocheting, coloring, bingo, Bunco, Yahtzee and other games she enjoyed playing with her many friends. Dolores was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes and belonged to the GIFT program. She was also a Telephone Company Pioneer.

Dolores is survived by brothers David (Trish) Cornelissen, Michael (Janet) Cornelissen, and sister Sharon (Mike) Gostovich. She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers Jim and Vern (Julie).

Visitation to be held Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Krause Funeral Home, 7001 West Brown Deer Road, Milwaukee, Wisconsin from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM. Funeral mass and burial to take place at St. Anthony de Padua, N5333 Maple Street in Tony, Wisconsin on April 25, 2017.  Visitation at 10:00 AM with mass and burial at 11:00 AM; luncheon to follow in the church hall.

The family thanks Hales Corners Care Center staff for caring for Mom like family. We also thank the staff of West Allis Medical Center ICU for their excellent, sensitive care.
