So sorry to hear about your brother and father Adam and Carrie. Your father was a good friend. We both served in the Army and I served with Dennis in the Selective Service. Your father was a steadfast American patriot, and friend to many. I was just thinking about him and my oldest son told me about Tim and your father’s passing. Your father was kind to many, and would help ``me when I asked him and I know he loved his children very much. Good bless you Adam and Carrie.`

My deepest condolences on your loss. I know he will be missed by many. I worked with the chaplains at ProHealth in Waukesha and enjoyed many conversations with Dennis. He often talked about his family and I know that he loved you all very much. I pray that God brings you much comfort in the weeks, months, and years ahead.

Father Kubena was a kind and compassionate presence at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. He touched countless lives with his gentle spirit and unwavering faith, offering comfort to patients and families in their most difficult moments. As a mentor, he guided newer chaplains with wisdom and encouragement, leaving a legacy of care and devotion that will continue to inspire. His memory will remain a blessing to all of us who knew him. May the peace of Christ, which Father Kubena so often shared, now rest upon him fully. And may we, strengthened by his example, walk forward in faith and love.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Dennis was an amazing child of God, born in faith and living everyday to serve his Lord , Jesus Christ. Over the years I have spoken and visited with Dennis to further both of our advocacies. We would often ask favors of each other and return them in kind to assist each other. Twice with dying friends at Waukesha Memorial Dennis consoled both my cousin Tom Slamka and my friend Brett Sorano. Brett's family told me that his conversation with Dennis eased his anxiety to comfort in his final days. Dennis was a blessing to us all and could be counted on for good counsel and great comfort. He will enjoy being remembered for his big heart and his fulfilling the mission he chose to accept as a young man. He will be missed, but there is tremendous comfort in knowing that in life and in death, he prepared the way for so many. See you again, too soon my dear friend!

Dennis was a classmate at St. Francis. Reading the obituary what describes Dennis the best is “gentle heart”! He is now with our Lord after touching so many in the 77 years he lived. God bless his family who will be comforted with all the good memories they have of him!
