Dawn Ann Skaja, found peace on Thursday, August 4, 2022, at the age of 65. Dawn was born in Milwaukee, WI in 1956. She enjoyed life and spending time with her grandchildren.
Dawn loved perfume, clothes, and a little bit of jewelry. She enjoyed sitting outside while listening to the sounds around her. She was an avid volunteer at the local community center and also worked with the disabled.
Left to carry on her love and spirit are her children Shawn (Elizabeth) Aldana, Candice Guerra, and Lola Guerra. Beloved grandmother of Jaylin, Jada, Jayzelle, Evalyn, Vincent, Lilian, Marcus Jr., Milo, and Xochitl.
Dawn was an only child to George and Marion Skaja. She lived with them at her childhood home until they passed away. Dawn remained in that home until she moved in with her youngest daughter, where she was surrounded by many loved ones. Here, she was able to feel the love of her grandchildren on a daily basis until she found peace in her sleep. Further loved by many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends.
