Charles D. Auclair (Chuck) December 29, 2020, age 74 years. Beloved husband and best friend for 40 years of Paulette (nee Osmanski). Loving dad of Jim (Lynn), grandfather of Jesse, brother of Pam (Gary) Atkins, Patti (Tom) Dolan, and John, brother-in-law of Rita Clark and Robert (Carmen) Osmanski.
The oldest of eight, Chuck is preceded in death by his parents Donald Sr. and Nickie (Adelia Mae) (nee Nichols) siblings Mike, Donald Jr., Daniel and Penny (Don) Neller and an infant son Mark. Chuck is survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Chuck was a lifelong Packers and Brewers fan. He was an avid fisherman who loved spending time on the water with his son and grandson. He enjoyed woodworking. An avid model railroader as a member of NAPM and NMRA, he built detailed structures for club layouts and participated in many operating sessions. Chuck and Paulette enjoyed travel, especially to Hawaii. As President of Auclair & Associates, Inc., his career as a systems analyst allowed him to work for many Wisconsin manufacturing companies and afforded the additional opportunity for travel. He served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War and was deployed overseas. A Stars and Stripes Honor Flight trip to Washington DC in May 2019, was a treasured memory.
The family wishes to thank the nurses and doctors of the Select Specialty Hospital at St. Francis, for their dedicated care. Memorials in lieu of flowers to the Stars and Stripes Honor Flight, Inc. or the Wounded Warrior Project are appreciated. Due to the current pandemic, a Celebration of Life, an Auclair Family Festival will be held at a future date.
Chuck was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by family and friends. Aloha Chuck.
