Barbara Jean Vassar, 66, of Milwaukee passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 21, 2019 at home. Barb leaves behind her brothers James (Marilyn) Vassar, Frank (Laura) Vassar, and a sister Mable Cambell. She was a mothering Aunt to her deceased sister, Viola’s 4 boys; Jesus (Amy) Vassar, Frank Briseno, Michael (Courtney) Briseno and Reyes (LeAnn) Briseno. Along with being a bonus grandma to their 7 children Kim, Alex, Tony, Libby, Crystal and Danielle, Barb also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, close cousins and friends.
Barb follows in death her sister Viola Briseno, her mother Ethel Vassar and her brother Gerald Vassar.
Barb loved baking, shopping and playing bingo. She was her happiest sharing her time with her family.
Memorial Service at Crossroads Community Church, 4315 South Moorland Road, New Berlin on April 26, 2019, 11:00 AM- 12:00 PM.
God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be. He wrapped his arms around you and whispered “COME TO ME”.
You didn’t deserve what you went through so he gave you needed rest, God garden must be beautiful, he only takes the best. You will forever be missed.
