Of Brookfield, WI , was born to Eternal Life on Oct. 26, 2018, age 85.  Preceded in death by his parents Elmer and Grace Johnson. Survived by his loving wife of 37 years Gladys; sons Robert (Marcia), Fernando (Elizabeth), Ricardo (Elizabeth) and David (Rosa); step-children Gonzalo (Marlene) Araujo, Enrique (Gerry) Araujo, Patricia (Joaquin) Paz and Ricardo (Michelle) Araujo.  Loving brother to Shirley Hardesty.  Beloved Grandfather and Great grandfather to 43 grandchildren.  Further survived by other family and friends. Arliss was born May 11, 1933 in Skyeston, ND.  He served as a Chief Petty Officer in the US Navy, serving in both the Korean & Vietnam wars.  He retired in 1972 after serving 21 years.  He was a long time employee of the US Postal Service. Arliss was generous in love and kindness and will be missed forever by his loving family. The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff at the VA Medical Center for their loving care of Arliss at the end of his life’s journey.
