Went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 28, 2017, age 35. He will be dearly missed as a kind, loving young man full of charm, laughter and an endless smile. Celebration of Life at Greenfield Avenue Presbyterian Church, 1455 South 97th Street, West Allis, 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM on Friday, October 6, 2017. Memorial Service 6:00 PM. In Adam’s honor, please wear your favorite fedora, hat, or bow tie. Memorials in Adam’s name would be appreciated to a charity of your choice.
Adam Jansky will always be remembered for his genuine care and compassion for others. A flash of his smile, silly facial expressions, or his laughter was infectious to all. These were character traits his family adored, and which also helped carry his coworkers through rough days along with his friends through life challenges. “He had the biggest heart and the most positive energy delivered with that cheeky smile…” He always managed to turn anyone’s cloudy day into sunshine.
Adam is survived by mother Heather Saugstad (JR Saugstad) and father Joe Jansky and (TJ Meyers-Jansky). Best Big Brother to Tiffinie Jansky, JJ Saugstad, Derek Saugstad, and Kaitlyn Saugstad. Loving grandson of Louis Jansky, Florence Jansky, Patricia Beaumont, Maynard Saugstad Sr. Further loved by numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins. Adam was preceded in death by Grandpa Beaumont, Grandma Saugstad, Cousin Anna Leitermann, and Uncle Roger Saugstad.
Adam loved the outdoors; swimming, camping, bonfires, biking, rock climbing, and going to Brewers/Packer games. These were a few favorite things he enjoyed doing with family and friends. One of the “best days ever” was when he took his brother, Derek, to his first Packer game.
His hair color could change with the seasons and any special occasion, yet his love for all of us, as well as his sense of humor, always thrived. Besides a rainbow of hair colors, his signature fedora hat and bowtie complimented the smile everyone loved to see. FAMILY was so important to him. Family was not about blood ties. He had an old soul with a classic open-door policy. When he let you “in” it was for keeps.
A cousin wrote, “Adam was one of the greatest, most kind hearted and loving person we have had a chance to meet. He can never be replaced, but I have a full heart knowing the impact he has had on everybody, our families especially. May he forever rest in peace and look over us for eternity.”
Please keep Adam’s memory alive by bringing a favorite picture and / or story. A memory box will be available for anyone to write and leave a special message, so Adam’s life will never be forgotten.
“…I wish I could hear you laugh one more time again, I am just going to miss your positive results about life and how we could make the world better.” (AP)
Our families would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of prayers, thoughts, and stories about Adam. He was loved more than he knew and will be missed by everyone he touched. For now, we say, “See you later.” We will be looking for you in the clouds, the sunrises, and the sunsets. We love You bunches, Adam!
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Adam’s name to a cause or charity, which you feel represented Adam’s passion and kind spirit.

Adam, you and Tiff were part of the package deal when I married your mother. I can thank the two of you for me wanting to have more kids. I have so many memories that will never be forgotten. The cross country and swim meets (I never realized how much exercise parents got when they chase around the course at a cross country meet or how hot a pool area could get in the middle of winter). How about the morning I cut my hand open cutting the bagel for Derek. Getting you to school then off to get stiches. Trips to Florida or just the splashing in the pool. The life guard training classes were you finally realized how good at swimming you really were. Comparing yourself to Mike all the time and not realizing you were an excellent swimmer until you became a life guard. You were a big brother that all your siblings are proud of. Your care for everyone around, you never wanted to see anyone suffer. Thank you for our last supper together. That evening will always be remembered. Your plans to make those around you even better will always be remembered. Thank you for sharing what we had. I know you always wanted to do better and you appreciated all the help your mother and I gave you. Your pain was great. Now you can make sure my mom and Heather’s dad are behaving or is it the other way around. Love you Adam
